Budikwanto Kuesar - President Director
Mr. Kuesar has served as the President Director of BUMA since 2009. He was the Managing Director of BUMA from 2001 to 2009. Mr. Kuesar began his career at PT United Tractors Tbk as Administration Department Head in 1974. He held several additional positions within United Tractors until becoming the Deputy General Manager for the Plant Hire Mining Division in 1991. In 1992, he was transferred to Pamapersada Nusantara (Pama), where he served as Operations Director until 2001. He graduated from Akademi Pendidikan Kejuruan in 1973.
Sujoko Martin - Finance Director
Mr. Martin has served as a Director of BUMA since 2010. He has twenty years of experience in the field of accounting in various companies within Astra Group. His last position prior to BUMA was Finance Director at PT Bina Pertiwi, a wholly-owned subsidiary of PT United Tractors Tbk. He is a graduate of Parahyangan University in Bandung, Indonesia, with a Bachelor Degree in Accounting.
Sjamsi Josal - Operations Director
Mr. Josal has served as a Director of BUMA since 2011. He has 23+ years experience in mining and construction projects in various companies and 16+ years at project management level prior to joining BUMA in November 2010. His last position was Project Manager for PT Thiess Contractors Indonesia, where he was responsible for providing total mining solutions to PT Arutmin Indonesia and PT Kaltim Prima Coal.
Joseph Hurst - Plant & Maintenance Director
Mr. Hurst has served as a Director of BUMA since 2010. He has more than 24 years of experience in mining and heavy equipment with various companies in Australia and Indonesia, including Leighton Contractors Indonesia, Thiess Contractors (Australia and Indonesia) and Roche Bros. & Roche Mining (Australia). Prior to joining BUMA, he was the Plant Manager at Leighton Contractor Indonesia. His primary responsibility at BUMA is to maintain and monitor the mining fleet (existing and new) to maximize equipment availability at an optimum cost.
